The Process and the Promise
Our journey together begins with a consultation in your space to determine your goals, scope of work and budget. I’ll ask you a lot of questions about what you like/don’t like about the space, what inspires you, and what your goals are. If you have a mood board or some inspirational photos or clippings, great! I’d love to see them.
Once we’ve determined our direction, I’ll create a mood board for your approval and discuss how we move forward, and how the project will be staged.
Whether you are simply looking for advice on a colour scheme or planning a major over-haul, I’ll guide you through each step and supervise crews working in your space. I’ll work with your contractor or bring in a team of my own.
I specialize in making spaces personal and special. If all you need is someone to add some charm to your existing interior, I can help. A hunter/gather of beautiful things, I know where to find one-of-a-kind and unusual pieces and works of art that will help make your home unique.
Nuts and Bolts
Initial consultation - 150.00 plus applicable taxes (which you can put towards my services @ 75.00 per hour)
Hourly rate - 75.00 plus applicable taxes. I charge for travel time if in excess of 1/2 hour, and for time sourcing or procuring materials and furnishing for your project. An initial deposit is required on large scale projects and is based on the estimated total cost.
I can work with your contractor or recommend someone to you.
I pass discounts on to you, but apply a 10% surcharge on anything that I purchase for your project.
Billing
I bill monthly and payment is due in full two weeks after receipt of invoice.
Virtual Consultation
The Covid 19 Pandemic has turned us upside down. But We've all found new ways of relating and working together. During this time, your environment may have become even more important to you and you may not want to put off a project that will make your home more comfortable or perhaps appropriate for your new, temporary circumastances.
I have heard from many people who need to convert rooms to offices or want to launch home organization projects, or refresh rooms. Much of the planning and some of the doing can be done virtually.
Let's start with a phone call to determine how we can work together - via email, Zoom Conference, Face Time or voice call, there are lots of tools at our disposal to help you move towards your goals.
The end goal will be to create a mood board for your space which is charged as an initial consultation starting at 150.00 (more if there are multiple rooms). If you and I are in sync and you would like me to do more work for you sourcing products or styling the room, you can use the first 150.00 towards my 75.00 hourly fee.
